Our Story
Sajjadia Islamic Society was founded in 2019 by a group of dedicated Shia Muslim community members in Riverside County, California. Established as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Sajjadia's mission has always been to provide a welcoming and spiritually enriching home for the local Muslim community.
In March 2022, Sajjadia purchased a 1.4-acre property at 2460 S Main Street, Corona, CA, that will become our permanent Islamic Center. The property purchase price was $1.4 million. The community rallied together to make a down payment of approximately $280,000, with the remainder financed through a mortgage. So we have $1.12 million loan remaining.
